Voices Power of Words is built around one simple idea: words matter, and everyone deserves the chance to be heard.
We welcome thoughtful, original submissions from writers who have something meaningful to say — whether you are experienced, just beginning, or finally deciding to put an idea into words.
We are currently seeking non-paid contributors age 18 and older.
We welcome opinion pieces, personal essays, poetry, sports, culture, human-interest stories, social issues, world affairs, and other writing that fits the spirit of Voices Power of Words.
Make it yours. Your submission should contain your ideas, your perspective, and your voice.
AI-assisted writing is welcome. Using AI for editing, research, brainstorming, organization, or helping you express your thoughts is acceptable. What we do not want is low-effort, fully generated work submitted with little or no human involvement.
Facts should be supported. If your piece includes statistics, quotations, news events, or other factual claims, please provide reliable sources whenever possible.
Keep the reader in mind. We favor writing that is engaging and easy to read. A story does not have to be long to be powerful.
Respect matters. Strong opinions are welcome. Personal attacks, hate-filled content, deliberate misinformation, or writing intended simply to provoke or demean others is not.
Editing may be necessary. We may make minor corrections for grammar, spelling, clarity, or formatting. Submissions requiring substantial rewriting or development may be returned or declined, with the writer welcome to revise and resubmit.
Please submit only work you have the right to publish. Previously published work should be identified when submitted.
To submit your work, email:
Please include your name, the title of your piece, and the submission itself. A short introduction about yourself is welcome but not required.
Not every submission will be published, and acceptance will always depend on quality, originality, accuracy, and whether the piece is a good fit for the publication.
You do not need a journalism degree.
You do not need a long résumé.
You just need something worth saying — and the willingness to put your voice behind it.
Your voice has power. Let it be heard.
